What goes inThe teaser

Made for a phone, from the same edit.

  • Faces kept in frame

AfterRushes finds the faces in your footage and frames each shot of the vertical teaser around them.

  • Cuts on the beat

Cuts land on the beat, and each shot skips blurred and shaky seconds.

  • Slow motion

Footage shot at 50 or 60 frames per second plays as slow motion.

  • Captions file

A .srt captions file comes with the teaser, for anyone watching with the sound off.

  • Your say on every shot

Ask for changes in plain English, or move, trim and delete shots on the timeline.

  • Nothing to upload

It’s all made on your own computer. Only still frames, photos and transcripts go to the AI.

SpeedOn our test wedding

A teaser while they’re still talking about the day.

On our test wedding (26 clips, 15 minutes of footage), the local analysis took about 11 minutes on a 2017 Intel i7, including a one-time download, and the AI steps added a few minutes more. Time grows with the amount of footage, and it all runs in the background.

QuestionsTeasers

Before you try it.

Which apps is the teaser for?

Reels, TikTok and Shorts. It’s a 1080×1920 vertical film, the full-screen shape those apps are built around.

Do I need to film vertically?

No. AfterRushes makes the teaser from the same footage as the highlight film and frames each shot around faces. Filming in 4K gives the vertical crop more detail. Framing wedding video for vertical explains why.

Does it add captions?

Every film comes with a captions file (.srt). Check the names and spellings before you post, and read captions for wedding films and teasers for how to use it on each platform.

What music does the teaser use?

The band or DJ recorded on the day when the recording is clean enough, or your own licensed track. Posting publicly has its own music rules, which music for wedding films covers.

Your next teaser, from the same cards.

Your first wedding is free: a free-film key makes one wedding’s films, up to 8 minutes long.
